Fashanne Newsletter Spring 2025
As part of the yearlong Fashanne Programme, we are hosting a number of brand workshops with our sponsors. These brand workshops will not only help the students gain invaluable insight into various parts of the fashion industry but will also help our sponsors build brand engagement and advocacy whilst supporting and nurturing some of the most exciting young design talent of tomorrow.
The first three workshops are with brand sponsor Next, and feature Q&As with our judges – Zeph Logan (Womenswear) and Jonathan Pedley (High Street Menswear) – and also with Ria Kenney who is a Buyer at Next. Access to the workshops is exclusive to students at participating Fashanne universities and details of how to access these workshops have been shared with the universities although you can have a sneak peek at some of the content on our website and socials.
We are busy filming more workshops so keep checking our socials for the latest releases!
NEW JOINS & SPONSORS
As part of our ambition to become the voice for the future of fashion design in the Midlands, we are proud to announce that Birmingham City University has joined our programme. Entering this year in the Textile Award we can’t wait to see what our students from Birmingham bring to the show.

We are also thrilled that Leicester College will continue supporting our live show this year by providing all the hair and make up artists for our runway models. Our thanks also goes to Print4 who will be supporting us with all the printing required for the show. We are grateful to all of our sponsors and supporters – we couldn’t do it without you!
TICKETS TO THE AWARDS SHOW
To see the final student designs from, not only Birmingham City University, but all our other participating universities at our live show on Thursday 26th June, you can now buy tickets through our website. We will be releasing a number of early bird tickets from 1st May so keep an eye on our socials as we release these!
