A fabulous evening, the 3rd year student designers’ showcase was an unforgettable celebration of emerging talent, creativity and Midlands flair!

“From the fantastical to the exquisite – the talent on show was there for all to see!” said one of the VIP guests who attended. And it was…as joyful finalists applauded the winners, universities cheered on their entrants, judges and VIPs marvelled at the creations and the beautiful St Mary’s Church rocked to the sound of an explosion of design talent in the heart of the historic Lace Market.

Just for fun…in the lead up to the awards evening we asked Poonam Sharma from Barclays (a supporter of Fashanne) to choose the ‘most instagrammable’ design. We agree that Sumuyah’s design was a great choice! She was entered in the Athleisure category. Her prize was a mini photo shoot at the event, here are a few of the great shots taken.
